For applications requiring extremely high
current ratings for extra guard band, or to
save the overhead of amulti-parallel
transistor network, International Rectifier
has achieved a 60%increase in typical
current-handling capability compared to
alternatives.
The series of 12 high-current HEXFET® power
MOSFETs introduce new technologies that
enable increased package-current ratings; up to
195A in industry-standard
TO-220, D2PAK and TO-262
outlines, and 240A using an
enhanced 7-pin D2PAK-7
package. The MOSFETs also
achieve lower RDS(ON) compared
to previous devices, with the
D2PAK-7 delivering a further
reduction over and above that
of the standard D2PAK.
Rated voltages are from 60V
to 200V, and the devices are
qualified to industrial grade and
Moisture Sensitivity Level 1 (MSL1).
