Full-Function Solid-State Relay Built into Small 4-pin SOP Package

The CPC1014N is a 60V, 400mA, 4-pin Solid-State Relay (SSR) from Clare, Inc., an IXYS company, uses optically-coupled MOSFET technology to maintain 1500V root mean square of input/output isolation within the industry-standard SOP footprint.

The CPC1014N offers board-space savings of at least 20% over competing 4-pin SOP devices and is a 1-Form-A, single-pole, normally-open SSR. A patented OptoMOS architecture enhances the efficiency of theMOSFET switches and photovoltaic die. The CPC1014N also features current handling of 400mA and on-resistance of 2Ω, as well as fast typical turn-on and turn-off times of 0.47ms and 0.22m respectively.

This device can be used as a drop-in replacement for the Omron G3VM-61G1 or Toshiba TLP172A, but with 33% less input control current, making the CPC1014N a more efficient option.
