Driver Provides Efficiency for 150W Solid-State Lighting
The Xitanium high-power LED driver
range is capable of providing up to
150W of power to an LED system.
Philips’Xitaniumdrivers are especially suited to
enabling efficient LED systems with a high power
requirement of 50Wto 150W.
High-voltage outputs allow 94% efficiency at full
load compared to typical efficiencies of 85% for
other drivers available on themarket. The high
output voltage also allows for large numbers of
LEDs to be connected in series without any
forward-voltage binning problems. This enables
high-lumen fixtures to be uniformly lit.
The Xitanium 150W driver range has a
universal mains input from 120V up to 277V.
The range consists of two 150W drivers, with
output currents of 350mA and 700mA.
This driver range also includes features
that protect against over-loading, short
circuits and over-heating for situations where
there is an unacceptably high ambient
temperature. To prevent mains fluctuations
from having an effect on light output, or on
LED lifetime, the Xitanium drivers provide
better than 1% line regulation over input
voltage. In order to further ensure the
lifetime of LEDs, the drivers implement load
regulation better than 1% from full load to
no load.
