Red and Yellow AlInGaP LEDs Offered with Low Power Consumption
Vishay is offering a series of yellow and
red LEDs with enhanced brightness and
reduced power consumption. The devices
use AllnGaP technology to provide
luminous intensity values from 71mcd to
285mcd from just 75mW of dissipated
power.
Featuring a 1.9mm profile height, the VLRE31
and VLRK31 surface-mount LEDs offer top-down
mounting for thinner PCB design. The
devices feature a non-diffused lens that is
ideal for coupling to light pipes and
backlighting.
The yellow VLRE31 series offers a
luminous-intensity range from 112mcd to
285mcd, while the red VLRK31 series features
a 71mcd to 285mcd luminous-intensity
range.
All devices offer a 30mA forward current,
with a 2.3V forward voltage and 75mW
power dissipation.
Qualified to the AEC-Q101 automotive
standard, VLRx31LEDs provide an ESD-withstand
voltage up to 2kV and are
preconditioned according to JEDEC moisture
sensitivity Level 2a standards.
