Emerging Photovoltaic Applications Backed by Compact Interconnection System



 


The Micro SOLARLOK interconnect system is a power-distribution junction box that includes cable assemblies with SOLARLOK connectors.

This system has been designed for emerging space-efficient, thin-film and roof-shingle photovoltaic applications. The junction box’s 9.3mm height saves considerable space in comparison to the 15mm and 20mm heights commonly available for such applications.

These assemblies can be provided with photovoltaic cables in conductor sizes from 10AWG to 14AWG. The maximum current rating for the system is 10A. The Micro SOLARLOK interconnection system is a UL 1703 recognised component.

Available with or without a built-in diode, the junction box is over-moulded and can be customised to individual applications. The leads are available in both standard and custom lengths, and are terminated with SOLARLOK connectors. The SOLARLOK family delivers a flexible system for easy and reliable interconnection between photovoltaic modules and the DC/AC converter.
