Surface-mount seven-segment display enables higher packing density

The HDSM-431x and HDSM-433x from Avago Technologies are single-digit surface-mount LED displays with a font size of 10mm.

These devices are much smaller than traditional components, enabling customers to design displays into applications that require small size, higher packing density or low power consumption. These are available in red, yellow, green and orange with a right-hand decimal point.

The family offers Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) 4, and all Avago seven segment displays are tested for luminous intensity to ensure that datasheet values are met. The HDSM-431x are common anode and the HDSM-433x are common cathode. A 14.22mm digit height alternative is provided by the HDSM-531x and HDSM-533x parts.
